Japan is home to all kinds of weird and wonderful foodstuffs. The latest of which are these pre-packaged slices of chocolate, which you can use much like a slice of American cheese. They’re sold in packs of 60 slices from Japanese confectioner Bourbon for about $27.

Dude Perfect show that they’re more than just trick shots, as they put a variety of awesome R/C cars and trucks from Traxxas to the test, including a tricky obstacle course, crazy roof jumps, and highlighted by an amazing hydroplaning run and a ridiculous long jump.

Last time we checked in with artist Luca Iaconi-Stewart, he was building an intricate paper model of a Boeing 777 out of manila folders. Here, he applies his same incredible knife and tweezer skills to craft a replica of a Singapore Airlines Airbus A380.

Joby Aviation’s two-seat fixed-wing flyer has 12 propellers to help it take off and land like a helicopter, but can stow eight of them and flip the other four to turn it into a conventional airplane while cruising. It uses electric motors to fly at speeds up to 200 mph.

YouTuber rctestflight has created what is possibly the brightest portable light ever made, by combining 10 100-watt LED panels into a blindingly bright source of illumination that can turn the darkest of nights into day.

Perhaps the coolest looking dice ever made, these aluminum cubes have built in LED lighting behind the pips. A motion sensor activates the lights only when you pick them up to roll. Their maker can’t guarantee perfect balance, but they’re still awesome. (Thanks Joseph!)

Brett Jubinville and Tinman Creative Studio have posted the first episode of their animated series which envisions a world in which our greatest scientific minds possess superpowers, and must help save the world from evil. It’s proof that Kickstarter can lead to great things.

Artist Courtney Brown envisions a fantastic typewriter that can type for itself, courtesy of its eight tentacles. Titled “Self Organization,” the sculpture was made from a 1938 Underwood and intricately shaped bronze, and took top prize at the 2015 California Sculpture SLAM.

Han drank first. Or at least that’s the story we’re sticking to. This awesome drink flask was created by If Industries, who sells cool arcade belt buckles on their Etsy shop. Sadly, due to licensing concerns, you can’t buy one. At least not yet.

Just opened in Nashville, Tenneseee, the Carvana vending machine allows car buyers to complete their car purchases online, then deposit a giant coin into a slot to receive their vehicle from a mechanized parking garage. It’s a silly idea, but also awesome.

Engineers from Carnegie Mellon University and Disney Research have developed a smartwatch technology which uses electromagnetic signals to detect what objects a user is touching, augmenting the world with contextually appropriate applications.

Artist and computer builder Love Hultén has outdone himself with his latest build, a 100% scale accurate Macintosh 128k replica, handcrafted from wood. Inside, it sports a Mac Mini and a modern LCD screen, making it both useful and a thing of beauty.
