The power-hungry tuning experts at Underground Racing can fit the already speedy Audi R8 with custom twin-turbo systems, turning the dial not just to 11, but to 1500. As in 1500 horsepower.
Audi’s R8 V8 Limited Edition commemorates their victories at Le Mans, and offers a 430 hp, 4.2-liter V8, titanium-toned paint and wheels, 19″ double Y-spoke tires and a set of red brake calipers.
When we heard that Audi was making a car for Elton John’s charity auction, we figured it’d be covered with gold and diamonds. Instead, we get this blindingly cool chrome Audi R8 Spyder V10.
The open-top version of the R8 Spyder may be made for cruising, but it’s still a beast under the hood, with a 5.2L 560hp V10 engine powering it from 0 to 60 in 3.8s. Limited to 333 units.
Despite the fact that Audi makes a V10 R8, STaSIS’ supercharged V8 keeps up with a 0-60 time of 3.6 secs, with its 540hp and lower weight. Exhaust, brakes and wheels are all upgraded too.
Taras Lesko was commissioned by Audi to create a scale model of the Audi A7. It took him 285 sheets of paper and 245 hours to finish the incredibly detailed model, which has a total of 750 parts.
The Audi A3 e-tron variant offers a turbo, direct-injected 1.4L 4 cylinder with 211 hp; combined with the 27 ponies from the 20kW electric motor, the vehicle goes 0 to 60 in 6.8 seconds. Video here.
Audi tuner MTM is showing a 777 hp Audi R8 Biturbo at this year’s Geneva Motor Show with top speed of 220+ mph. it’s worth about $560K and received 700 hours of aluminium chassis polishing.
West Coast Customs pimped out an Audi R8, giving it a Tron-themed makeover to promote Monster’s line of Tron audio gear. We’re not sure why they made it chrome instead of just black though.

The 2010 Audi TT RS is officially coming to the US. The TT RS has a 2.5L 5-cylinder engine that generates 360hp and 332lb-ft of torque, allowing it to go from 0 to 60mph in just 4.6 seconds.

The latest in Audi’s zippy, stylish R8 line, the Spyder 4.2 FSI Quattro offers a sporty drop-top. The 430-hp V-8 cranks out 0-to-60 speeds in just under 4.8 seconds, and a top speed of 185 mph.
Created by designer Amar Vaya, the Axiom was created as an exercise designed “to introduce beauty to the implications of Audi’s tradition.” We don’t know about all that, but think it looks great.
The SR Auto Group pimped out Audi’s R8 with a Matte Black body and rims, PPI Razor carbon fiber front air dam, side skirts and rear diffusers, 20-in Advance One wheels and H&R lowering springs.

While we don’t expect Audi to release an electric vehicle until 2012’s A2, the conceptual A1 e-tron hybrid will do for now. Despite its power source, the car could go from 0 to 60 in about 10 seconds.
