You know who needs self-driving cars? Dinosaurs. Apparently, Audi is going for the prehistoric market with its autonomous driving technology, as evidenced by this bizarre commercial about a depressed T Rex. He still can’t put on a seatbelt though.

Very few of us will every get a chance to drive the Nürburgring – especially in a 610 hp Audi R8 V10. For the rest of us mere mortals, enjoy this VR video of pro race driver Tom Kristensen taking that awesome sports car for an abridged lap of the famed Green Hell.

The top-of-the-line TT gets a new aluminum 5-cylinder engine which pushes out 400 hp, launching the Coupe to 62mph in 3.7s and the Roadster in 3.9s. All-wheel drive and a fixed rear wing are standard, and adaptive dampers and carbon ceramic brakes are available.

The new TT looks and drives better than ever, with impressive grip and cornering, a zippy 220 hp turbo 4 with 258 lb-ft. of torque, and a luxuriously appointed interior. Its cool 12.3″ “virtual cockpit” combines an instrument panel, infotainment and navigation displays in one.

The droptop version of Audi’s powerful R8 supercar lets you truly enjoy the wondrous exhaust note of this 540hp V10 beast. It can still go from 0-to-62 in 3.6s, tops out at 198mph, and offers greatly improved rigidity, road and wind noise over the previous generation.

The extended version of Audi’s big Super Bowl 50 spot is a tribute to the space program, David Bowie, our elders, and awesome sports cars all in one, as a retired astronaut is lost until he gets a chance to drive Audi’s 205mph R8 supercar. Wouldn’t we all like that chance?

Audi amps up its already bonkers RS 6 Avant and RS 7 Sportback with “Performance” models. Both AWD cars now have a whopping 605 hp, and the ability to overboost torque from 516 to 553 lb-ft. on demand. 0-to-60? 3.7s. Now can we get the wagon here in the States?

Audi’s all-electric SUV is slated for release in 2018, and just might give the Tesla Model X a run for its money. Using three powerful motors to produce 496 hp, it can hit 62 mph in 3.5 seconds, 310+ mile range, and can juice to 80% in 15 minutes. Inside, it’s packed with tech.

This custom version of Audi’s TT 2+2 has been blessed with an electrically-enhanced turbocharging system which turns its small 2.5L 5-banger into a 600hp monster that does 0-to-60 in 3.6 secs, and tops out at 192mph. Dat wing.

The station wagon version of the Prologue Concept sedan. The Prologue Avant is a hybrid – a 3L V6 diesel engine and an electric motor produce 455hp and 553lbft of torque, which are delivered through Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive system.

The Audi Prologue serves as the blueprint to the carmaker’s near future models. This hulking block of sculpted steel has a 4L TFSI engine that produces up to 605hp and 553.2 lb-ft of torque and is filled with passive 3D displays inside.

The S7 Sportback has a 450hp 4.0L TFSI engine. The five-door coupe also has new grill, bumpers, tailpipes and headlights, giving it an edgier look. The adaptive air suspension and LTE-connected infotainment system are still standard.

Audi’s technology will tell you what speed to maintain so you’ll pass through the next traffic light when it’s green. It also counts down to the next green light if you’re already stopped at a red light. More here and here.

The Audi Sport Quattro Laserlight Concept is a hybrid car with a 110kW electric motor and a 560hp 4L V8 engine. It has laser high beam lights with a 1,640 ft range and a 3D dashboard controlled via a touchpad on the center console.

Director Nacho Gayan’s charming CGI animated spot for the Audi A4 is the ultimate in aspirational marketing, as a tiny wind-up robot wishes he could be more like his distant, and decidedly more sophisticated cousin.

In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Sport quattro, Audi created this striking 21st century update, with a hybrid drivetrain powered by a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 and 110kW motor for 700hp combined. Hits 60 in just 3.7secs.

Audi’s TT went on a diet for their latest Ultra Quattro concept; it lost 660 lbs and gained a stiffer suspension setup, exterior and interior cameras and screens and a digital instrument panel.

At CES 2013, Audi presented technology that allowed an Audi A7 to park and then return to pick up its owner on its own with the help of Wi-Fi laser sensors embedded in its surroundings.

Audi shows a concept demo of a prototype tech that replaces the tail lights on a vehicle with a curved OLED display. As incredibly cool as it looks, we can only imagine how distracting this could get.

The latest sexy R8 gets a new 7-speed S-tronic transmission, and its 5.2L V10 engine gets bumped up to 550hp, pushing it along to a top speed of 197mph, and a 0-to-62 time of 3.8 seconds.

With its carbon fiber reinforced plastic frame, and 2.3 kW motor, Audi’s concept bike can hit speeds up to 50mph in its pedal/electric mode, and 31mph in pure electric. Plus it has a “wheelie” mode.
