Awesome Astro Boy

It didn’t do well in theaters, but we’re still rootin’ for Astro Boy as a robot-tastic flick; it arrives on Blu-ray/DVD 3/16/2010 with deleted scenes, featurettes, and two new animated scenes.

We enjoyed the Arena Battle clip, but this Astro Boy vs. Peacekeeper video gives us exactly what we want: a giant robot on not-so-giant robot, city-leveling slugfest (with butt guns).

It’s got adventure, it’s got comedy, it’s got giant hovercraft called The Spirit of Freedom: we promise this Escape from Metro City clip for Astro Boy will rock your rocket-powered socks.
