Glitches can be annoying or hilarious. But on occasion, a glitch reaches such epic proportions that it’s better than some of the game’s scripted moments. This Assassin’s Creed IV glitch is one such moment of unintended brilliance.

Ubisoft shows off the AnvilNext game engine, which was used to make Assassins Creed III. It’s capable of rendering up to 2000 characters onscreen at once, as well as dynamic weather and worlds.

While Ubisoft’s idea of “blending” and the NPC AI still leave much to be desired, Assassin’s Creed 3 makes up for it with new weapons, tricks and moves as well as seamless gameplay.
