The initial 680-piece concept includes Frida Kahlo, Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, and Salvador Dali, but we could see this becoming a whole new LEGO Artist’s series.

Designer David Beaulieu’s Today Is Art Day offers collectible PVC figures inspired by famous artists. The 5″ tall toys include Leonardo da Vinci, René Magritte, Frida Kahlo, and Vincent van Gogh, and more complete with tiny masterpieces and other accessories.

Filmmaker Christopher Helkey introduces us to artist Peter Dahmen, who creates complex and intricate pop-up structures from paper. We loved learning about how he got started, his build process, and watching the movement of each sculpture as it’s opened up.
