Enjoy watching how things are made? British Pathé gathered 10 short clips from their film archive, showcasing how factories produced electric guitars, wallpaper, parking meters, candies, and more. It’s amazing how much handwork went into making eyeglass lenses back in the day. For more vintage factory footage, check out Pathé’s 1950s compilation.

Created by Jason Scott and a team of dedicated tech archivists, Discmaster provides online access to more than 91 million files from CD-ROMs and floppy disks collected by the Internet Archive. The retro-style search interface lets you directly view images and play video and audio files from the disks.

From 2010 to 2017, The Onion’s A.V. Club invited musicians to cover songs from a list of diminishing choices as the season went on. This amazing collection vanished a few years back, but has resurfaced on the YouTube channel Alvin Untercover. Bands include TMBG, GWAR, Punch Brothers, and more. Watch ’em before they’re gone again!
