Awesome Alfa Romeo

Italian automaker Alfa Romeo blew our minds when they revealed the 33 Stradale, a limited-edition supercar with a sleek design that honors the classic Tipo 33 while still being modern. It will come in a conventionally-fueled model with a twin-turbo V6 with 620 hp, and an electric version with 750 hp. Each will be handcrafted at Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera.

This incredible custom car celebrates 100 years of partnership between coachbuilder Zagato and automaker Alfa Romeo. The one-off longnose coupe is powered by the 2.9L twin-turbo V6 from the Giulia GTAm, making 533hp and 442 lb-ft. of torque. Unlike most other modern sports cars, it has a six-speed manual transmission.

Our friends at DriveWithDave experienced the exotic and expensive Alfa Romeo GTC. Top up or down, the car is simply beautiful. Buttery smooth shifts are easy to match without a glance at the tach, and that Italian engine noise is much closer to your ears in this cabriolet.

Based on the chassis of the limited-edition Alfa Romeo 8C Spider, this diminutive touring roadster pays tribute to the classic car of the same name. Just seven of these cars will be made by Italian coachbuilder Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera.

Alfa Romeo gets ready for winter to be over with the 4C Spider. The drop top retains the coupe’s 237hp 1.8L engine, six-speed DCT, lightweight carbon fiber monocoque chassis, and amazingly tight manual steering.

The Alfa Romeo 4C has a turbocharged 1.8L 4-cylinder engine that produces 237hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. Its carbon fiber chassis helps bring its weight down to just 2,028lb. It goes from 0 to 60mph in 4.5s with a top speed of 160mph.

The one-off Zagato Alfa Romeo TZ3 Corsa has a tubular frame and lightweight aluminum body. The 420 hp 4.2-liter V8 engine can go zero to 60 in under 3.5 seconds with top speed of 187 mph.

Exotic car maker Bertone shows off their futuristic vision in this concept for Alfa Romeo’s 100th year. Who says sports cars can’t be comfy? The interior features cool glowing blue Technogel-filled seats.

Designed by Pininfarina, Alfa Romeo’s 2uettottanta was created to commemorate the car makers’ 80th year. The two-seater convertible harkens back to the 60s while firmly grounded in 21st century tech.

Alfa Romeo’s Mito supermini almost looks too cute to play defender, at least until it opens a can of whoop ass on gas pumps in this Space Invaders TV ad; it’s directed by Spy Films.

We’re not fans of the bug-eyed styling, but Alfa Romeo’s MiTo GTA hatchback presents real competition for the MINI JCW with a turbocharged, VVT DI engine that pushes out 240 hp.
