Boeing’s Custom Hangar limited editions store offers sculptures, furniture and other decorative items made of old airplane parts, including ones from the 747, 727, DC9, P-51 Mustang, F-4 Phantom and B-29 Superfortress.

An R/C plane with a body made entirely out of carbon fiber, making it extremely durable yet lightweight. Its swappable battery lasts about 3min. per charge. It has a 640×480 camera, but you can’t stream the video feed live.

A group of people appear to push a 30-ton plane free from the frozen ground at the Igarka Airport in Russia. Officials say that a truck off-camera was that one that freed the plane, but some of the passengers are sticking to the story.

We’ve seen some impressive remote-controlled jets before, but never one that so faithfully replicates a commercial airliner like this working 1/15th scale model of an Airbus A380. It’s over 15 feet-long and has a wingspan of 17+ feet.

An impressive demonstration showing the evacuation of 873 passengers from a prototype Airbus A380 jetliner in just 78 seconds. Though in real life passengers would probably trample each other and grab for their luggage.

An all-terrain buggy and paraglider in one. It has a 1L 123hp EcoBoost engine and weighs just 926lb., thanks to its carbon fiber and fiberglass chassis and carbon fiber propeller. It goes up to 115mph on land and up to 55mph on air.
