If you’re getting tired of the usual gun-based videogames, keep an eye on War of the Roses. It’s a 3rd person team combat game based on 15th century England, with emphasis on melee combat.

A kid and his two friends shot this short with surprisingly solid action, tight editing, and a perfect score. One Reddit commenter said “This kid’s talent exceeds his equipment.” We couldn’t agree more.

The first official trailer for Len Wiseman’s Total Recall reboot makes it looke quite a bit more serious than the Schwarzenegger version. We haven’t decided it that’s a good thing yet.
