Awesome 1920s

Recorded audio and radio programs from the early 20th century have a distinctive sound. Musician Sam Stafford got his hands on a vintage 1920s carbon microphone and shows how much of that sound was due to limitations in the era’s audio technology. When Sam gets out his banjolele and starts singing, it’s like he stepped into a time machine.

Views of an AI imagines a film in the Blade Runner universe, but in the style of Fritz Lang, the man behind the 1927 cinematic masterpiece Metropolis. Like Ridley Scott’s original, it follows the story of a man who retires replicants and falls in love with one, then adds a new layer about a rebellion against the ruling class who created these androids.

Table football aka table soccer aka Foosball dates back to the early 20th century. MW Restoration got their hands on example from the 1920s that needed some TLC. The table was in extremely rough shape and had a gaping hole in its hardboard field. But by the time MW was done, the game looked as good as new.
