Sub-Pixel Art

Pixel art is a fun way to celebrate your love for retro video games and computers. Digital artist Japhy Riddle demonstrates that it’s possible to create sub-pixel art by manipulating the screen’s individual red, green, and blue dots to create images with higher perceived resolution. A similar technique was used to enhance the color capabilities of 8-bit computers.
