Slate Modular Electric Truck

Backed by Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, Slate aims to upend the EV market with a compact pickup truck that starts under $20,000 (after the federal EV credit.) The 2-seat base truck is stripped down, with no paint (wraps available), no touchscreen, and manual windows, but can be personalized with numerous components and even turned into a 5-seat SUV.
