The successor to the Bugatti Chiron is a $5 million beast with an 8.3L V16 engine and three electric motors working together to produce a mindblowing 1800 hp. Among the Tourbillon’s many highlights is a dashboard based on the watch mechanisms that inspired its design. With a top speed of 277 mph, you’ll need a long runway to push this thing to its limits.

Freelance 3D artist XieBoLi spent a year and a half creating this 3D animated montage of some of the climactic and intense scenes from Attack on Titan. They made everything from scratch, from the character models to the environment. It may be achingly short, but they did a great job at transferring the anime and manga into 3D.

The Vikings made many interesting weapons, armor, and other battle gear. In this video from metalsmith Freerk Wieringa, he handcrafts a replica of an ancient Viking shield. He starts by hammering its iron center and forging nails. He then cuts wooden planks into a circle and adds canvas, paint, and a rawhide edge before attaching the metal dome.

Jay Baron gets us. He creates Retrograde Supply Co.’s endearingly funny patches, which manage to be ironically cheery while sharing self-effacing messages of personal failure and global dread. Artist Uri Tuchman is an expert at building unique devices with a Steampunk aesthetic. This time, he built a pair of mechanical wooden hands that appear to type on an imaginary keyboard. It’s part of a larger installation headed to the Tel Aviv Museum of Art. Ironically, Uri broke his hand after he completed the project.

Joel and Ellie on The Last of Us have quickly become our favorite pairing since Walter White and Jesse Pinkman. Screen Junkies is here with their sarcastic take on the latest zombie series that’s not about zombies at all, with an Honest Trailer that’s ironically been sponsored by Dead Island 2.

There are lots of cover bands out there, but it’s not often their performances rise to the level of the originals. The Lexington Lab Band is one of those rare musical groups that crushes every single cover they play. Their YouTube channel is packed with classics like Ride Like the Wind, Give a Little Bit, Hot for Teacher, and Ironic.

Pianist Gamazda is back with another ear-pleasing performance. This time, she took on House of the Rising Sun, adding an abundance of flourishes to the 1964 Animals classic. Her elaborate arrangement brings new drama and depth to the track.

We’ve seen some unique clocks and timers, but this is the first time we’ve seen one that displays time using the kind of metal filings you’d find in a Wooly Willy toy. B.B. Korry created this electromechanical clock which uses a grid of electromagnets to attract and release iron filings to count down seconds. It’s really loud, though.
