Between traffic, pollution, and the cost of owning a car, riding a bike is often a better way to get around. Oscar Boyson and Erin DeWitt created this lighthearted short using scenes from movies to dissuade us from driving cars, and instead to get out and start pedaling.

Mate.Bike’s newest offering packs a ton of features but retains a very competitive price. The Mate X features a 250W or a 750W motor that lets you go up to 20 mph, a battery that lasts up to 80 mi per charge, hydraulic brakes and suspension, and much more.

The Cero One is a customizable pedal-assisted electric cargo bicycle. Its front and rear rack can each be fitted with a platform or basket. It can also be equipped with a child seat or a surf rack. It uses Shimano components and puncture-resistant Schwalbe tires.

UK tech firm Prodrive is showing off what it claims to be the lightest folding electric bicycle you can buy. Weighing in at just 22.7 lb, its lighter than most regular bikes, but packs a 250-watt motor and 160 Wh battery for a range of just over 18 mi, with a top speed of 15.5 mph.

In their quest to make electric bikes even more convenient and stylish Bosch created a compact (13.7″ x 3.3″ x 2.6″) and lightweight (6.2 lb) power pack which can be housed inside a bike frame. New bikes using the PowerTube 500 are headed to dealers this Summer.

If you find it hard to store or transport your bicycle, check out Billibars. They are detachable handlebars that simply twist and lock to their base, so you can stash your bike in narrower spaces. They come in four different styles.
