Trypophobics look away. What you’re looking at is an object that appears to move in two directions when it’s spinning. Jack Mack Woodturning demonstrates how he created this mind-bending object by carving a bowl and then drilling dozens of circles radiating from its center. The trick is achieved by synchronising the lathe RPM with the camera’s frame rate.
