Making a 2-Axis, 1-Wheel Balancing Robot

James Bruton is a master at engineering and building self-balancing machines. His latest creation is a robot that stays upright using a belt-driven rotating wheel on one axis, encircled by eight small wheels that roll on a perpendicular axis. Using a 3-axis sensor and microcontroller, it rapidly adjusts its motors to keep it balanced.
