KORG berlin is working on a nifty new gadget for music makers. The phase8 is an 8-voice synthesizer and sequencer that creates acoustic sounds like marimbas and xylophones. The sounds it makes are created using electromechanical metal resonators, which can be tuned and tweaked using waveshaping and audio modulation. Coming Q1 2026.
