For its 100th anniversary, the Indian Motorcycle 2022 Chief has undergone a headlight-to-tailpipe redesign, blending old and new in six models with the powerful 116 cubic-inch Thunderstroke 111 motor. It’s a true road warrior, producing 108 ft-lb. of torque in all six gears, and aesthetics as only Indian can deliver.
Based on a timeless steel-tube frame, the new Chief sports premium finishes and an industry first: a four-inch round display that resembles a classic analog gauge but is in fact a touchscreen. It provides speedometer and tachometer readings, navigation, live weather and traffic reports, and Bluetooth connectivity for music and phone calls.
