Given the way season three of Stranger Things ended, we didn’t know if we’d ever see Hopper again. Well now that we have the teaser for the fourth installment, we think we have our answer. Of course, Hop could just have an evil identical twin laying train tracks in Russia too.

Wes Anderson does what he does best, telling intricately woven tales of unusual people, portrayed by a star-studded cast, and setting them into fastidiously-arranged living paintings. The French Dispatch follows a series of stories surrounding the final issue of an American magazine published in a fictional French city.

Takeshi Kovacs is back for season 2 of Netflix’s sci-fi drama, but he’s wearing a new sleeve that looks a whole lot like Anthony Mackie. This time, Tak lands a job that sends him to his home planet of Harlan’s World, where he finds himself torn between his crime-solving mission and reuniting with his long lost love, Quell.

We thought the latest (and likely last) Terminator movie was actually pretty entertaining – if not all that memorable. It certainly underwhelmed at the box office, and Screen Junkies is here with their thoughts on the dark fate of Jim Cameron’s once-blockbuster franchise.

From 1917 to Joker to Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, the 2020 Academy Awards has some pretty solid contenders. But regardless of how good a movie might be, Screen Junkies is always ready to roast it. So without further ado, enjoy their very special Oscars edition of Honest Trailers.

Fans of The Big Lebowski will be thrilled to see the return of John Turturro’s purple-clad ball licker Jesus Quintana. Turturro wrote and directed this spin-off movie which sends The Jesus a wild journey with a quirky crew of cohorts. The star-studded flick hits theaters and on-demand digital on 3/6/20.

It’s the animated undersea World War I epic nobody was asking for. But that certainly didn’t stop Carnage-Boy from spending way too much time cutting together this hilarious trailer for a version of 1917 that plays out in Bikini Bottom instead of Pas-de-Calais.

If there’s one thing that can be said about Todd Phillips and Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker, it’s that it’s one really, really dark movie. So Screen Junkies is here to lighten the mood a bit, as they poke fun at one of the most depressing character studies since Leaving Las Vegas. Are you laughing now?

Jesse Eisenberg and Imogen Poots star in this creepy and suspenseful movie about a couple who go house shopping in a cookie-cutter subdivision, only to find they are trapped in this nightmarish, Kafkaesque community by mysterious overlords, who demand they must raise their demon child.

Jason Segel, Sally Field, André Benjamin, Eve Lindley, and Richard E. Grant star in this fantasy-drama about about a group of strangers who end up teaming up to unravel a mystery, and who end up discovering much about themselves along their journey. Premieres 3/1/20 on AMC.

(PG-13: Language) In this action comedy, Issa Rae & Kumail Nanjiani star as a couple having the perfect night, but inadvertently stumble into a murder scene. After becoming accused of the crime, they must work to find the real killer and clear their names. It kind of looks like Stuber meets Queen and Slim.

(PG-13: Language) Daniel Radcliffe stars in this insane looking action flick about an internet troll who finds himself pulled into a real-world, live-streamed death match after thugs turn up at his door and bolt a pair of guns to his hands. Of course, his first opponent is the biggest badass of the whole game.

The Mandalorian certainly owes alot to western films like A Fistful of Dollars and The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. But what would it have looked like if it actually were a spaghetti western? Kingkida’s stylized trailer does a great job imagining just that, complete with the proper music, typeface, and film grain.

This limited-run mystery series from Alex Garland (Ex Machina, Annihilation) follows the story of a software engineer who thinks a secret division of her employer might actually be responsible for her boyfriend’s murder. Nick Offerman’s character is reason enough to tune in. Coming to FX on Hulu March 5, 2020.

After a lengthy hiatus, Fargo is back, and it looks as good as ever. This time, we’re dropped into Kansas City, circa 1950, where two crime syndicates attempt to maintain peace, not only in their turf war, but across racial lines. The cast includes Chris Rock, Jason Schwartzman, Jack Huston, Uzo Aduba, Timothy Olyphant, and more.

From jaw-dropping violence, to quoteworthy dialogue, to endless homages and pop culture references, Quentin Tarantino’s films are both a blast and uncomfortable to watch. Screen Junkies tosses barbs at QT’s cinematic universe and numerous obsessions, while still appreciating the greatness of his work.

In this offshoot tale from the Marvel X-Men universe, a group of young mutants find themselves held in a psychiatric facility, and when they realize the truth about their captivity, they must work together and use their powers to help escape. After a long series of delays, the film drops 4/3/2020.

After the events of the terrifying A Quiet Place, the remaining members of the Abbott family head back out into the world to face more monsters that react to even the smallest sound. Along the way, they encounter new people and we get a glimpse at what happened at the start of the invasion.

(PG-13: Language) Editor Sleepy Skunk recently bestowed us with his regular end-of-year movie trailer mashup. But since it’s the end of a decade, he decided to do one better, and put together this epic and emotional montage of movie moments from the past 10 years as a bonus. How many of these movies did you see?

Elijah Wood sports a very bad haircut as he portrays a man who reunites with his mysterious and long-lost father, only to find out that the reason his Dad wants to get together is truly insidious. New Zealand filmmaker Ant Timpson’s twisted horror flick is getting raves from the critics.

(Gore) Produced by Guillermo del Toro, and directed by Scott Cooper (Black Mass), this creepy horror film follows the story of a gruesome death that at first appears to be an animal attack, but turns out to be something far more insidious – and the young boy who in some way is connected to it all.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Will Ferrell star in this dark comedy about a couple who struggle with their relationship after an avalanche nearly crushes them during a family ski vacation. This remake of the French film Force Majeure looks like a good way to celebrate anti-Valentine’s day 2020.

Writer/Director Christopher Nolan is back, and his latest film looks like another wild ride. Plot details are thin, but the time travel thriller it has something to do with an agent who must go deep, deep undercover to prevent a catastrophe from ending us all. Drops 7/17/2020.
