The latest trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home reveals a bit too much plot for our taste, but also gives us glimpses of several familiar villains from Peter’s multiverse. In addition to Doc Ock, expect appearances from Green Goblin, Sandman, Electro, and more. The jury’s still out if we’ll get Toby Maguire or Andrew Garfield, though.

Denis Villeneuve’s introduction to the world of Dune was truly epic but left audiences hanging in the end. Screen Junkies throws a little shade at the filmmaker for living up to some grand expectations, then yanking the rug out from under us right before the credits rolled.

It tells its stories across multiple timelines, which should make for some interesting contrasts for its characters. The limited series premieres on HBO Max 12.16.2021.

Ryan Reynolds, Gal Gadot, and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson star in this buddy caper comedy about a professional art thief who finds himself teamed up with an FBI profiler to hunt down an elusive rival. Coming to Netflix 11.12.2021.

Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg take on the characters Nathan Drake and Sully Sullivan in this big-screen adaptation of Naughty Dog’s beloved PlayStation game series. Expect globetrotting action, adventure, and wise-cracking as they pursue “the greatest treasure never found.” In theaters 2.18.2021.

Nicole Kidman stars as Lucille Ball and Javier Bardem as Desi Arnaz in Aaron Sorkin’s drama about the often tumultuous life of the Hollywood power couple. It plays out during one week of the production of their hit series I Love Lucy. In theaters 12.10.21 and on Prime Video 12.21.21.

Marvel unleashes one of its stranger characters for this animated series about an assassin who finds his soul trapped inside of a monkey. But the monkey has his own code that may just make him a better man. Stars Jason Sudeikis, Olivia Munn, George Takei, and Fred Tatasciore as Hit-Monkey. Coming to Hulu 11.17.2021.

James Gunn expands on the story of one of his Suicide Squad anti-heroes with this HBO Max series he wrote during the COVID lockdown. John Cena reprises his role as the narcissistic manchild vigilante Peacemaker as he joins up with a band of misfits to save the world from itself at any cost. Premieres 1.13.2022.

Matt Reeves kicks off a new era for Batman, with Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne and his vigilante detective alter ego. Paul Dano stars as Edward Nashton (Riddler), Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle (Catwoman), Andy Serkis as Alfred, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, and Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot (Penguin).

In 1988, pro wrestler “Rowdy” Roddy Piper and Conan the Barbarian’s Sandahl Bergman starred in a campy sci-fi action movie called Hell Comes to Frogtown. Perhaps the producers thought people would take it more seriously with the voiceover in this trailer. The second trailer is equally entertaining.
