All that remains from the Disney Princess Power Wheels Jeep is its pink plastic shell, but The Grind Hard Plumbing Co.’s latest build is simply awesome. The tricked out one-seater now has a 50hp CRF 450 dirt bike engine, and an off-road suspension, making for tons of fun in the dirt.
FXItInPost took a famous sequence from A New Hope, and reworked with new footage, clever editing, and VFX to make the battle between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader far more thrilling. It’s impressive, but we couldn’t help but think about George Lucas endlessly reworking his classics.

With Game of Thrones ending its run very soon, HBO is looking for the next big thing for weekly viewing. One of their big bets: a reboot of Watchmen as a TV series. With Damon Lindelof (Lost, The Leftovers) at the helm, it could go either way, but we’re intrigued at this point.

You can build amazing things with LEGO, but their baseplates are pretty ordinary. Beyond the Brick got their hands on some of the sweet baseplates from Slab Dream Lab, which come in a variety of designs, or can be custom printed with your own. Apocalypse Now: Final Cut features 4K visuals based from the film’s negatives. It also has retooled audio with 5.1 Dolby surround sound. It’s also a new edit by Francis Ford Coppola, and is 20 minutes shorter than the Redux version. Coming to theaters 8/15/19 and Blu-ray 8/27/19.

Jordan Coelho and Josselin Bey assembled a team of 14 Montréal artists to contribute to this collaborative animation, in which each person was asked to imagine a pinball machine using their aesthetic. The result is visual and auditory magic. Also, we really want a PaRappa the Rapper machine now.
Giangrande’s inspiring folk track Free to Roam is complemented beautifully by Gianluca Maruotti’s stop-motion music video. The claymation imagery was created using with the scenes playing out against a flattened backdrop. Be sure to watch the behind the scenes video too.
Coke is a pretty good drink mixer already, but we really like the idea of these bartender-crafted mixers, which add hints of flavors like smoke, wood, spices, and herbs. For the moment, they’re only coming the UK, but we’re hoping to see them stateside at some point.
