Crashlands is a 2D crafting-oriented action RPG similar to Starbound. Aside from being funny, it’s a joy to play because it respects our time: the inventory is bottomless and organizes itself, it has cross-platform saving, etc. Available on Windows, Mac, iOS and Android.

An action platformer disguised as an old sci-fi B-movie’s DVD release with director’s commentary. The Deadly Tower of Monsters is a campy and lovingly made homage to Flash Gordon, King Kong and other classic sci-fi films. For Windows and PS4.

Like Besiege, Scrap Mechanic is a physics-based construction game. Currently in Early Access, the game has over 100 parts that you can use to build structures, vehicles and everything in between. It also supports multiplayer.

Punch Club is an addictive tycoon-style sim game where you manage a kickboxer. Rise from your humble beginnings and kick and punch your way through cheesy action movie references. If you’re into Kairosoft games, you’ll love this one. Also on iOS for $5.

(Flashing lights) Daniel Mullins’ Pony Island is a short but memorable horror puzzle game. You play a person doomed to keep playing an arcade game made by the devil, who turns out to be bad at programming. It’s obnoxious, but it’s also funny and clever.
