Awesome Games
Free: World Golf Tour
World Golf Tour is a beautifully rendered golfing sim, all the more amazing that it’s free and playable online. Based on the Bali Hai course in Vegas, it uses Google Earth-like tech.
Red Alert 3: Superweapons
Red Alert 3 has no nukes due to a glitch in the time continuum, but this superweapons trailer makes up for it with all sorts of explosive goodness; thank god they kept the iron curtain.

Just in case you haven’t picked up your copy of NBA 2K9 (which arrives today), this launch trailer (go Baron!) should seal the deal: those graphics looks damn near realistic.

Free: Commando 2
With respect to our Japanese friends, Commando 2 is still a very fun, side-scrolling shooter. Packed with weapons and bosses, it’s set in World War II China during the occupation.
Trailer: Halo Wars
Although light on action, this latest cinematic trailer for Halo Wars explores a bit of the backstory to the game; it’s set at Harvest, approximately 20 years before Halo: Combat Evolved.

Trailer: Faith City
This latest “Faith City” trailer for Mirror’s Edge focuses on the classic security vs. freedom debate. It’s a cell-shaded masterpiece, enough so we wish the actual game looked like this.
WaW Collector’s Edition
The canteen and metal box aren’t anything special, but one week’s worth of Double XP for buyers of Call of Duty: World at War Collector’s Edition may make it worth it for some.
Trailer: Damnation
Mixing steampunk with concepts of verticality, we’re really looking forward to Damnation. It’s a cross between Dark Void and Mirror’s Edge, so expect to do a lot of jumping and climbing.
