Coming out of USC’s Interactive Media unit, The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom is like Braid on crack. If you’ve ever wanted to literally kick your own ass, you can do it here.
This is not your standard YouTube video: this ad for Wario Land: Shake It is pure genius. We’ll leave out the details for you, but let’s just say your GUI elements don’t stand a chance.
We were never big fans of Tron, but indie-developed Tank Universal gives those neon polygons a nice coat of glow paint with particle effects and 20 levels of tank-on-tank combat.
Fracture’s deformable terrain makes us wonder if it’s a one trick pony, but this gameplay demo shows off some of the coolest weapons we’ve seen since Half Life 2’s Gravity Gun.
This is a free flash port of Lock’s Quest; defend your base against increasingly difficult waves of Clockwork baddies, all the while upgrading and repairing to stay alive. Thanks, Blake!
