Captain Disillusion takes on another seemingly impossible viral video, though it takes him at least 37 seconds before he’s able to figure out how motion artist Kiyan Forootan pulled off the illusion of a see-through dancing character. Basically, Kiyan is a computer graphics master.

Sideshow Collectibles shows off the work that went into what is likely the most impressively-detailed scale replica of the queen from Aliens ever made. Designed with the help of Legacy Effects, this incredible sculpture will look great alongside your $1000 Alien King.

Director Kangmin Kim’s stop-motion short film features some truly unique puppets, but despite its playful character design, this is no lighthearted family fare, as Kim attempts to recount a disturbing childhood rite of passage as a dark and surreal animation.

For the visually impaired, braille is used to read printed documents. However, the raised dots don’t exactly translate to those with full sight. Kosuke Takahashi came up with this concept for English and Japanese typefaces which are readable both with your fingers and your eyes.
