With the help of some high-tech camera gear, BBC series Inside the Bat Cave gives us a rare look at the way that bats move through the air. The anatomy of each bat affects the speed at which it can fly, topping out with the incredible Brazilian free-tailed bat, which can fly at speeds up to 160 km/h (~100 mph).
