Where’s Wall-E?
Richard Sargent (no, not that Dick Sargent) created this robot-laden illustration, filled with bots from R2-D2 to Rosie the Robot to Bender to Woody Allen in Sleeper. But we dare you to find Wall-E.
WALL-E Case Mod
For all you WALL-E lovers out there: your favorite robot has been cast into a fantastically detailed computer case, complete with meticulous step by step instructions. Thanks, IceBone!
WALL-E Mini Figures
Fresh from Japan, this mini figure set includes eight robots from the epic “prison break” scene in WALL-E, including EVE and M-O; it measure 5.5″ long and includes a snap-together base.
Lego Wall-E
Anyone can build a simulacrum of Wall-E out of Legos, but Korean brick fanatic Gyuta has built a version that can transform itself into Wall-E’s cube form as well as motor around on treads.
Wall-E: Down To Earth
Wall-E Blu-Ray/DVD
Our favorite trash compacting robot is returning home: yup, Wall-E is coming in both Blu-ray and DVD flavors on November 18th; each will include the all-new BURN-E short film.
Video: Modded Wall-E
We’re robo-crushin’ on DJ Sures’ modded Wall-E: he takes Disney’s cheap $40 single-motor version and gives it multiple servos and a freakin’ personality, all with only 7 hours of work.
Wooden Wall-E
This custom Wall-E by Morpheus looks pretty good in wood, which is unfortunate because it’s totally one of a kind and was a gift to PIXAR exec John Lasseter. Still, a geek can dream…
Squid Game But with Robots
A whole lot of people died in Squid Game. But would it have been any better if the eliminated contestants were robots instead? Shutter Authority had a little CGI fun in Blender and replaced the humans with robots in the iconic Red Light, Green Light sequence. Will WALL-E make it to the finish line?
Inside Pixar
With animated classics like Toy Story, Up, Wall-E, and Finding Nemo to their credit, every animation company on the planet aspires to be as good as Pixar. This new documentary series takes us inside Disney’s famed CG-animation studio to meet the creative minds behind the movies. Premieres on Disney+ 11.13.2020.
Carving Pencil Tip Sculptures
Artist Salavat Fidai (Салават Фидаи) creates incredibly detailed sculptures using the sharpened pencil leads as his medium. Among his many miniature creations are Wall-E, the Statue of Liberty, a prancing horse, Big Ben, a violin, and the world’s smallest elephant.
Domo Arigato Poster
We love the whimsical homage artist Derek Sullivan has paid to the most notorious robots in pop culture history in his 18″ x 24″ print. It’s easy to spot Wall-E, Bender and Rosie, but how many more can you identify?
Emotions of Pixar
Up’s beginning. Toy Story 3‘s ending. Wall-E‘s… everything. Lindsay McCutcheon showcases some of the memorable high and low points in Pixar movies with this wonderful edit that will make your eyes very sweaty. Sia’s Breathe Me doesn’t help matters.
Samsung Ring Speakers
Samsung’s egg-shaped WAM6500 and 7500 speakers remind us a bit of EVE from Wall-E. They use “ring-radiator” tech to produce immersive 360º sound from a single unit, and will work as part of a multiroom system.
BURN-E
If you never picked up the video release of WALL-E, you missed out on this charming 7-minute long Pixar clip, which tells the tale of BURN-E, a robot tasked with repairing a single exterior light.
John Carter (Trailer 2)
The new trailer reveals way more of the incredible environments, spacecrafts, and creature animations from Andrew Stanton’s (Finding Nemo/Wall-E) first live-action film. Oh, and is Led Zeppelin from Mars?
John Carter (Trailer)
WALL-E’s Andrew Stanton directs his first live-action film, the story of John Carter and his mysterious journey to the planet of Barsoom – the native word for “Mars” for the Martians living there.
Brian Chan’s Origami
Papercraft can often be pretty simplistic, but Brian Chan’s intricate creations were all made by folding alone; not a single cut was made on any of them. We want the WALL-E one for our office.
Video: Beat Dropping R2DJ
Bidi-bidi-bidi beats here in this fun music video from Eclectic Method, featuring some of our favorite robots, including R2-D2 and C-3PO, Twiki, Johnny 5, WALL-E and EVE, Teddy and B9.
Short Film: A Day in Paris
Benoit Millot’s A Day in Paris is a live-action/CG short that takes the everyday parts of what it means to be a Parisian and merges them into something equal parts wonderful and WALL-E.
Eco-Friendly T-shirt
Available today only at TeeFury, Alex Solis’ Eco-Friendly t-shirt resembles an amped-up franken-WALL-E; environmental themes aside, the details on this tee are absolutely incredible.
Celebrity Star Wars
Worth1000’s latest photochop contest, Celebrity Star Wars, is a Hollywood meets Hoth mashup with everyone from Jack Black and Halle Berry to WALL-E and EVA getting Jed-i-fied.
Short Film: Reach
Curiosity killed the cat, or in this case, the robot: Luke Randall’s Reach is about a cute, waddling robot (WALL-E, anyone?) and its ill-advised battles with its tragically short power cord.
MotherBoard Mirror
You won’t be building WALL-E case mods with it, but Romolo Stanco’s MotherBoard is geek-chic with untouchable laser-etchings that are made on the glass slab, not the mirror’s surface.
Bulldozer Case Mod
Although its 700 MHz Pentium III and 512 megs of RAM are a bit out of date, Megalex’s Yellow Bulldozer case mod instantly scores points for looking like WALL-E’s long lost brother.
