Awesome True Detective

Colin Farrell, Rachel McAdams and Taylor Kitsch play policemen while Vince Vaughn plays a shady businessman in the new season of True Detective. They’re brought together by a bizarre murder that leads to a web of conspiracy.

Bowling is a flat circle in these spot-on opening credits for The Big Lebowski made in the distinctive style of True Detective‘s opener. It loses steam at the end, but the main character intros are top notch. Made by Darrin Fullerton.

While some people are concerned with the casting of Vince Vaughn and Colin Farrell in True Detective season 2, we’re not worried. But the guys at Funny or Die think Ellen Page and Kate Mara would have been a better choice.
