Traxxas’ new RC monster truck goes “only” up to 50mph, but you’ll be too busy pulling off drifts, jumps and wheelies to care. The X-Maxx has 8″ tires, a 1275kv brushless motor, oil-filled aluminum shocks and a convenient modular chassis.

Designed as a more fuel efficient, reduced maintenance truck for fleets, the W-15 packs impressive specs. Its AWD electric drivetrain pushes out 460hp, and can go 0-to-60 in 5.5s. Pure-electric range is just 80 miles, but its gas engine can generate power for up to 310 miles.

SRS-RC shares footage of some amazing model trucks and construction equipment being driven and performing tasks during Modellbau Wels 2017, a festival which celebrates model vehicles and aircraft of all kinds. We’d love to see that Bucyrus crane being driven around in action.

MammuthWorks‘ huge Rewarron remote-controlled truck measures 78.5″ long, making it 33% of the size of an actual pickup. It’s got a 270cc 1 cyl engine, and an off-road suspension. While its price tag may be hard to swallow, it’s still less than 1/3rd the price of a real truck.

Even if you aren’t the boss, you can still drive this beast of a truck and feel like one. GMC’s 2017 offering has a new Duramax 6.6L turbo diesel V-8 with 910lb-ft of torque that hauls with ease and goes off road in total comfort.

We recently headed to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway with Chevrolet for a day at their Find New Roads Experience. Along the way, we hit the agility course in the new Colorado ZR2, launched a Camaro ZL1, and did a bucket-list lap of the speedway in a Corvette Grand Sport.

To show off the precision and predictability of their powertrains, Volvo Trucks turned one of their big rigs into a tow boat for a paraglider. Watch flyer Guillaume Galvani and driver Louise Marriott work in perfect harmony to pull off this dangerous stunt without a hitch.

The new performance variant of Chevy’s mid-size pickup gains 2″ of suspension lift, steel rocker protectors, Multimatic shocks, 17×8 wheels with 31-inch off-road tires, and front and rear locking diffs. Comes with either a 308 hp V6, or a 181 hp diesel with 369 lb-ft. of torque.

Here’s something we never thought we’d see. Luxury and sports car maker Mercedes-Benz is showing off two concept variants of a mid-size pickup. While we’re not sure we’d want to take these trucks off-road and get them really dirty, they sure look pretty. Launching late 2017.

Toyota’s most rugged mid-size pickup yet, the new Tacoma TRD Pro rides on 2.5″ FOX Shocks, is wider, taller, has a 35º approach angle, and a 1/4″ skid plate to protect components. We dig the blacked out grille, hood scoop, and overfenders. Read our full review on 95octane.

Normally, when you need to move around the trailers from an 18-wheeler, you need a big rig to pull them. But with Verhagen Leiden’s V-move Elektrotrekker XXL, an individual can tow around an entire trailer much in the same way they’d pull a little red wagon.

Suspension component maker Hellwig Products and LGE-CTS Motorsports are building this off-road beast for SEMA 2016. The modded Nissan Titan XD has a forged sway bar and air bags to handle the big Lance Camper, and rides on massive Falken tires and black Method Wheels.

The F-150 Raptor is back, and Hennessey has a new VelociRaptor upgrade package for it. The biggest additions are the second rear axle and extra pair of wheels. It also has better suspension, bumpers and the option to go up to a 600+hp twin-turbo engine kit.

GM and the US Army created this badass concept truck for military operations. The 6.5 ft. tall truck runs quietly thanks to a hydrogen-electric 4WD drivetrain, its power pack can be removed to power field operations, and can produce clean drinking water as a by-product.

An insane version of Ram’s Rebel pickup, ready to do 100 mph+ off-road. It’s driven by a supercharged 6.2L V8 Hemi (aka the Hellcat engine), tuned to 575 hp, an extra-wide track with monstrous 37″ tires, 13″ wheel travel, and six-point racing harnesses for all passengers.

LEGO enthusiast Sariel’s latest remote-controlled creation is based on the Dakar rally configuration of the Tatra T815 truck. The 12″ toy has a double wishbone suspension in front, a live axle at the rear and has a top speed of 7mph.
