The AR.Drone’s little siblings. The Jumping Sumo is a two-wheeled jumping toy car, while the MiniDrone can fly or ride on its wheels. Sadly, the Sumo only has a 20min. battery life while the MiniDrone lasts just 6min. in between charges.

Austin “Austron” Granger built what he claims is the world’s largest K’nex ball machine. Made of more than 100,000 pieces, the machine is 23.5′ tall and 40′ long. It’s currently at The Works Museum in Bloomington, Minnesota.

A LEGO model of NASA’s Curiosity rover, our robot emissary to Mars. It has 6 wheels and an articulated arm. It was designed and submitted to LEGO by Stephen Pakbaz, a mechanical engineer who worked on the actual rover.
