The teaser is intentionally cryptic but drew us in with its bold visuals and emotional tension. In theaters 12.17.2021.

Written and directed by Johannes Hartmann, Halbschlaf – “half-asleep” – plays on our implicit trust as viewers in what the film chooses to reveal, using an entertaining albeit predictable trick.
