Iron Man Kill Count
Mr Sunday Movies, YouTuber Oceansparks and Tony Stark himself present a compilation of Shellhead’s killing spree in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He doesn’t top Luke Skywalker’s genocidal record, but he’s a scary dude.

The Film Theorists share interesting trivia behind the production of The Avengers, including how Marvel retained creative control by funding its own movie studio, and how director Joss Whedon saved us from a potentially disastrous script.
Unlike many recent superhero movies, Fox’s X-Men films have shied away from colorful and distinctive costumes. Kaptain Kristian points out how ironic this is, given that this team symbolizes oppressed minorities accepting who they are and standing up for their identities.
Cyclops goes up against Storm, Beast trades blows with Psylocke and the dashing Oscar Isaac turns into Jabba the Hutt’s left nut in the final trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse. We can’t wait to see how Jubilee will be of absolutely no use to anyone.
To tide fans over until Captain America: Civil War drops, Burger Fiction assembled this chronological compilation featuring practically all of Iron Man’s TV and movie appearances. That 1994 cartoon intro is hilariously awful.
(PG-13: Language) While you may not agree or feel as strongly as YouTuber I Hate Everything does about the flood of superhero flicks, he makes several great points. A movie should stand on its own, not be a mishmash of references, CGI and teasers for sequels.
Dr. Stephen Strange used to be a neurosurgeon, but an accident damaged his hands. While looking for a way to heal, he comes upon a mystical being that trains him to be the Sorcerer Supreme, which sounds like an awesome pizza flavor but is sadly just a mystical Neo.
“If we can’t accept limitations, we’re no better than the bad guys.” MCU Exchange did Marvel a huge solid with this awesome montage of clips from past Marvel movies and TV series that point to the big confrontation in Captain America: Civil War.
A behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming animated adaptation of Alan Moore and Brian Bolland’s comic book Batman: The Killing Joke. Kevin Conroy, Tara Strong and Mark Hamill return as Batman, Batgirl and the Joker respectively. The movie drops Summer 2016.
“We need to be put in check.” Iron Man throws his support behind a jail for super-powered beings, whether friend or foe. But Captain America doesn’t think his colleagues deserve such an insulting – HOLY CRAP.
Everybody loves Clark Kent, Diana is like no other woman and Bruce Wayne is chaining combos like his video game counterpart in the final trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Go go Bat armor!
The lines are drawn and the characters – well, most of them – have chosen their sides. Iron Man, War Machine, Black Widow, Vision and the Black Panther take on Cap, the Winter Soldier, the Falcon, Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch and Ant-Man in a super powered Civil War.
“Everything they’ve built will fall!” Olivia Munn’s Psylocke is fully revealed and the X-Men’s god-like villain wreaks havoc on a scale befitting a man who calls himself Apocalypse in the film’s Super Bowl spot.
While we don’t know if it’ll be shown outside of Russia, this X-Men style superhero flick looks like it could be fun. The film is set in an alternate Soviet Union where mutant superheroes band together to protect the country from supernatural threats.
Even Batman and Superman’s earthly alter egos dislike each other, but they will have to work together to defeat a terrifying threat. The main characters of Zack Snyder’s Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice make themselves known in this new trailer.
Batman’s in over his head in the newest teaser for Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. Who knew Ben Affleck would look great in the Dark Knight’s mask? Perhaps Matt Damon would be a good Robin. Or Martian Manhunter.
The world’s governments want superheroes to be accountable for their actions, with Cap and Iron Man taking opposing stances. The film adaptation of Marvel’s hit comic book crossover appears to be much smaller in scale, but we’ll take what we can get.
A 13-disc set with digital, Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D copies of Iron Man 3, Thor 2, Captain America 2, Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers 2 and Ant-Man. It also has a bonus disc with over 2 hours of extra content and a life-size replica of the Morag Orb (the relic Star-Lord stole in GotG.)
The criminally underrated Vulture Remix used clips from the 1948 serial Superman and the hilariously awful 1949 serial Batman and Robin to create an early 20th century version of Zack Snyder’s upcoming film.
While in Indonesia, photographer Lessy Sebastian captured this photo of a Wolf’s mona monkey – whose coloration and pointy ears are reminiscent of Wolverine’s costume. Though its claws aren’t made of adamantium. At least we don’t think so.
This trailer for the Fantastic Four re-reboot is notable for two things. First of all, it’s the most comprehensive look yet at the background stories of Marvel’s royal family. Then there’s its special announcement.
Illustrator Josh Lynch has an ongoing series of illustrations where he turns Marvel superheroes into dogs. We can’t decide which one we like best. MODOG is probably the right answer, but we love the Mr. Fantastic dachshund so much.
