Watch as daredevil kayakers Rush Sturges and Ben Marr ride through a drainage canal that’s just inches wider than their tandem boat, as they take a thrilling and dangerous ride that could have easily snapped their paddles – or their bones – if anything went wrong.

Ski-cross world champion Filip Flisar amps up his speed across the powder with a little help from a jet-powered backpack. With the pack on, he can hit speeds north of 75 mph, though the temperatures on his back can reach over 1500°F.

If you think getting on one of those bull riding machines at a country bar is a recipe for disaster, get a load of this video from The Dudesons – who saddled up and went for a ride on a tree harvester machine in place of the bull.

Austrian downhill cyclist Markus Stöckl recently zipped down a steep slope in the Atacama region of Chile to set a new world’s record for speed on a mountain bike – 167 km/h, or about 103.79 mph. It took Max about 11 seconds to reach his top speed on the way down.

It takes a minute to get to the action in this clip of rollerblader Grigoriy Usenko tearing up some MTB slopestyle ramps in the woods outside of Krasnodar, Russia. But you’ll want to watch those first 60 seconds too, packed with cool motion time-lapse footage of the nearby city.

(PG-13: Language) Daniel Bodin pulled off one of the most insane freestyle tricks we’ve ever seen on a snowmobile. Somehow he managed to flip his machine upside-down not once, but twice. Watch the dizzying POV footage first, then see how it looked to the outside world.

Equipped with deadly looking spikes on his tires (and balls of steel), MotoGP champ Marc Márquez managed to race his bike uphill on a snow and ice-covered ski slope on the Hahnenkamm mountain in Kitzbühel, Austria.

Swedish daredevils Rackartygarna pulled off what’s quite possibly the world’s first snowboard backflip on a moving car. The vehicle was going at a snail’s pace, but the driver still could have had snowboard sprinkled with glass for dinner.

You might have to travel back in time to 1992 to find a parody of Quantum Leap relevant, but that takes nothing away from Tanner Foust’s mad drifting skills, the insane exhaust notes, and lung-filling dose of tire smoke and dust you’re in store for in the next six minutes.

When you think about it, a drone is basically a tiny helicopter with multiple blades, so why not build a huge drone capable of puling or lifting a human? Recently, Casey Neistat and his friends put together just that, then headed to Finland’s Santa Claus Village for a little snowboarding.

For the action sports documentary Supervention II, Freeskier Jesper Tjäder pulled off an epic trick in which he built up enough speed to grind a 360º rail that looped him upside down. It took him a few tries, but like most great feats, practice made perfect.

We’re pretty sure we’d be caught by airport security if we tried to pull any of the shenanigans that Red Bull freerunner Jason Paul used in this video. Regardless, we’re just glad that somebody finally replaced O.J. Simpson as the new king of running to catch a flight.

Danny MacAskill shares behind the scenes footage of the insane final stunt from his short film Cascadia, in which he jumped his bike off of a building and into the sea. It’s a fascinating look at the mental games daredevils must play before they risk life and limb for entertainment.

To celebrate the first ever World Trick Shot Day (who knew?), Harlem Globetrotter Buckets Blakes headed to the top of the 58-story Tower of the Americas in San Antonio, and took aim at the basket far below. We have no idea how he worked the wind into his calculations.

With the help of a massive treadmill, some set pieces and a bunch of projectors, stuntman Damien Walters and his pals recreated a bunch of classic movie stunts in a room that reminds us of one of Star Trek TNG’s holodecks.

To show off the precision and predictability of their powertrains, Volvo Trucks turned one of their big rigs into a tow boat for a paraglider. Watch flyer Guillaume Galvani and driver Louise Marriott work in perfect harmony to pull off this dangerous stunt without a hitch.

Rider Fabio Wibmer rode his bike along a railing not much wider than its tires. But that’s not the impressive part – it’s that he did it along the guard rail overlooking Austria’s Kölnbreinsperre – a dam that rises about to a height of about 200 meters (~656 feet).

“That’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done.” Stunt driver Ben Collins (formerly The Stig) successfully drove a Range Rover Sport down Mürren, Switzerland’s Inferno ski course, with a 7100+ft. descent, slopes up to 75%, over ice and loose terrain, at speeds up to 96 mph.

From the confetti water trail at the start through the series of crazy jumps, this stunt by The Flying Frenchies is pure perfection. Who else would have thought to strap a surfboard atop a zip line, then jump off, 2000 feet above the ground?

R/C chopper pilot Alan Szabo Jr. proves that Tareq Alsaadi isn’t the only one who knows how to do crazy tricks with his helicopter. Watch Alan make his ALIGN Trex 800E DFC zip around like a flying Tasmanian devil. That lawnmower bit at the end, whoa.

Record-setting stunt pilot Spencer Suderman takes us along for a crazy series of twists, turns, and barrel rolls, over Southern California. We can’t decide if the GoPro’s gimbal setup made us more or less dizzy than a stationary camera.

Bicyclists Tyler Bereman and Darryn Durham take a ride on the undulating Red Bull Straight Rhythm course in the darkness of night. We’re gonna guess that the illuminated smoke trails and starfield were enhanced in post-production, but they still look cool.
