Awesome Station Wagons

Audi’s very special performance wagon is finally coming to America. It’s powered by a 4.0L twin-turbo V8, and combined with a 48-volt hybrid system, makes 591hp and 590 lb-ft. of torque, launching you and your family to 62 mph in just 3.6 sec, on its way to a 190mph top speed when fully equipped. And it sounds fantastic.

Kia flexes its design muscle yet again with a concept study for a 5-door wagon variant of its tame European Cee’d hatch. There’s nothing mild about its looks, with a Lava Red body, elongated wheelbase, 20″ rims, dramatic illuminated roofline, and over-the-top interior.

Jaguar’s performance luxury wagon comes to the US. Only now, it’s got an aluminum body, 50/50 weight balance, and a supercharged 380 hp V6 that launches it to 60 mph in 5.3s. It holds up to 69.7 cu. ft. of cargo, and has an air suspension for stability even with a load.

Hot on the heels of the redesigned Panamera, Porsche has dropped this bombshell – a station wagon version of the luxury sports sedan, with engines from 330 to 550 hp, along with seating for 5 and increased luggage space. Unlike most wagons, this one is coming to the US.

Kia has been on a roll with its concept designs lately, and the sleek Sportspace is no exception. We don’t have specs yet on the car, but it certainly looks better than most other station wagons. And those wheels are just stellar.
