Blizzard has made the Windows and Mac versions of the original StarCraft and its expansion Brood War available for exactly zero dollars. The gesture is undoubtedly a teaser for the game’s upcoming remastered version, but hey, free is free.

Blizzard is bringing back its original sci-fi RTS. StarCraft: Remastered comes with updated 4K graphics (with the option to switch to the classic view), remastered audio and dialogue, cloud saving and improved multiplayer and social features. Drops Summer 2017.

YouTube user NuubCast commentates on StarCraft II matches, but this time he has his 4 year old daughter as co-commentator. Lower the volume; the kid’s voice is as loud as it is cute.

If this trailer is any indication, the Terran campaign promises to be one hell of a ride. The Starcraft II website also has a couple of videos for those who need to catch up on Starcraft history.

We’re still sore over the delays, but the deities at Blizzard have thrown us a two meaty bones: the first cinematic trailer with Zeratul and an old foe, and 4 minutes of SP gameplay.

It’s not as great as getting the actual game released (*cough* Blizzard), but these StarCraft II Tech Trees for all three factions should continue to tide over the South Korean hordes.

If you can’t stand the sight of Zerglings getting mashed into a goo, be sure to skip this video filled with Starcraft II unit death animations; otherwise, let the pixel eviscerating begin.
