Awesome Skiing

Yep, that’s the point of view of a man who’s somersaulting over a spinning helicopter blade. Carefree skiier Candide Thovex upped the ante for his third One of Those Days video. There’s a fair amount of editing magic here, but it’s no less amazing for that.

Skier Nicolas Vuignier performed a cool visual experiment that resulted in an awe-inspiring 360º surround view of himself as he swung his iPhone around using a tether. Combined with slow-motion, he created a sort of Matrix bullet-time effect on the slopes. (Thanks Adam!)
