Kith founder Ronnie Fieg worked with Dover Street Market to update New Balance’s 574. The 574 Sport has an inner sock construction, a cushy Fresh Foam midsole, and 28 swappable N-logo Velcro patches. Drops 7/7/17 for $160 on Kith and DSM stores.

Business punk. Experimental casual wear brand Sacai teamed up with leather master Hender Scheme to switch up the timeless black leather shoe. These handmade shoes and boots have the laces at the back and the pull tabs at the front – an aggressive but practical design.

Flex, Forrest, flex! Nike’s relaunched running shoe gets the inevitable Flyknit remake, starting with the famous white, red and blue colorway, with an ankle collar added. It will also be available in black and white. Drops 7/4/17.

NMD hu? Nike’s boutique arm will be re-releasing the Pocketknife DM walking shoes in three ACG-inspired colorways. The shoes will also have textured leather accents instead of the plain ones on the vanilla kicks. Drops 7/1/17.

Pigalle founder Stéphane Ashpool turned one of Dennis Rodman’s basketball shoes into casual unisex kicks by replacing the laces with Velcro, adding nubuck and a tweed-like upper, and using sky blue and pink as the dominant colors.

We’re not soldiers, and there’s no reason for war. As part of its 2017 fall/winter collection, avant garde leather shoe maker Hender Scheme started with the combat boot and stripped away much of its functionality.

Kith was the first to bring back the Gel Lyte Mai, but Bodega has the better take on the asymmetrical shoe. The Underground is made of ostrich, nubuck, suede and pebbled leather with a mesh and nylon tongue. It comes with orange, white and lavender laces.

One of Nike and Undercover’s running shoes returns in a murked out scheme. The NikeLab Gyakusou Free RN Motion Flyknit 2017 has a dual-density and dual-pattern midsole to conform to your feet. The straps and notched collar make it easy to put on and take off.

As part of its 2017 Fall collection, the Jordan brand decks out His Airness’ first three-peat shoe in colorways that should be familiar to Air Jordan collectors: the monochrome cool grey and the red-accented cement. Drops 8/26/17 for $190.

One of the most awaited drops from Y-3’s 2017 fall/winter collection. This premium take on Adidas’ minimal and mad comfy casual running shoe has a mesh upper, a TPU cage and heel counter, a leather tongue and that rare black Boost midsole.

We wouldn’t recommend skateboarding on these, but the laceless versions of Vans‘ bestselling silhouettes make for great walking shoes. Both the Old Skool and the SK8-Hi have a large elastic strap, leather upper, padded collar and the comfy Ultracush insole.

In its onslaught of Boosts and Gazelle spinoffs, adidas forgot that they made the German army trainer. The brand with three stripes will soon rectify that mistake with a re-release of the BW Army in classic leather and suede. Drops 6/16/17 in black or white.

White hot. The Jordan brand adds to its Premium Essentials line with a cream-colored version of the original Air Jordans. True to its name, Retro High OG Sail bears the Nike Air logo on its tongue and insole instead of the Jumpman. The shoe drops 6/20/17 for $160.

An improved version of the space exploration-themed shoe. The Mars Yard 2.0 has a new knit mesh upper to go with the suede panels, as well as an outsole based on the Special Field Boot. For now, it’s exclusive to the NikeCraft Space Camp, but it will also retail for $200.

Rest on these while you dream of Margielas. Beckett Simonon’s take on German army trainers are handmade out of full grain leather, water-resistant suede and a flexible gum outsole, all at a level-headed price. Available in black, white and navy.

The latest version of the Special Field and Air Force 1 mashup is a mid-cut shoe with an upper that’s partly made of ballistic nylon with a tiger camo pattern and military type print. It also has heel zippers to make it easier to take off.

Japanese luxury casual wear brand Nonnative revised its take on Chucks, throwing out the laces for a full-length zipper and the familiar rubber toe cap and cotton upper for leather-lined suede. It’s also available in white, wine and forest green.

A great fit for sneaker addicts. These chests are shaped and painted to look exactly like shoe boxes from Air Jordan, adidas, Supreme, and more. They come in two sizes: the small one holds up to 8 pairs of shoes, while the large one holds up to 16 pairs of shoes.

The latest shoe from the adidas x Porsche Design team-up looks like it came from the future. The Bounce S4 Lux has a sculpted 3D mesh upper for comfort, along with a lightweight decoupled heel which isolates your foot from shock via a carbon fiber bridge.

Under Armour’s new hiking boots are handsome enough to wear on level ground. But they’re not all bark. They’ve got a lightweight textile upper with a Gore-Tex membrane, a foam overlay for a snug fit, a foam insole, dual density EVA midsole, and a Michelin outsole.

First released in 1987 for cliff divers and water sports enthusiasts, the comfy and eye-catching Aqua Sock became a street hit. Now it’s back with more muted colors – although there’s still one in bright orange – a foam heel guard and a more practical segmented outsole.
