You know her as Eleven on Stranger Things, now Millie Bobby Brown is taking on a different kind of mystery as Sherlock Holmes’ teenage sister, who ends up becoming a sleuth in her own right when her mother goes missing. Also stars Sam Claflin, Henry Cavill, and Helena Bonham-Carter. Coming to Netflix 9.23.2020.

Sherlock Holmes’ modern adventures continue, but things will take a considerably darker turn. At least one of the season’s stories will involve a battle of wits with the sneaky murderer Culverton Smith. And maybe Moriarty. Please Moriarty. The show returns in 2017.

When the Sherlock Holmes stories were first published, the detective’s address – 221B Baker Street, London – did not actually exist. But in 1930s, the street numbers were reallocated and the address fell to a bank, which was quickly inundated with fan mail. The Game was afoot.

“Oh Watson, nothing made me. I made me.” The trailer for the upcoming 19th century one shot of BBC’s Sherlock is strangely menacing, with allusions to “war” and ghastly pasts. Perhaps it won’t be about the Blue Carbuncle after all.

An excerpt from a special standalone episode of BBC’s Sherlock. It’s set in 19th century London, and the showrunners have dropped clues implying that it will be an adaptation of The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle.

In Mr. Holmes, John Watson wrote Sherlock’s famous tales (the actual stories are mostly told from Watson’s perspective). But Watson changed details of their escapades, and the detective intends to correct them before he dies.

Old and losing his otherworldly genius, Sherlock Holmes looks back on his life with the help of his housekeeper’s son. Ian McKellen plays the retired Mr. Holmes in this adaptation of Mitch Cullin’s novel A Slight Trick of the Mind.

The BBC is really getting with the times. This canonical short film is a prequel to the third season of Sherlock. The short sees Inspector Lestrade and Dr. John Watson peppered with omens that Sherlock is somehow alive.

Sherlock Holmes hit a dead end in his search for a mysterious doctor. Turns out all he had to do was wait. John Smith intricately combined scenes from the two hit BBC series to make this neat video. The VFX breakdown is just as cool.
