Awesome San Francisco

San Francisco Internation Aiport’s runways 28L and 28R run in parallel, just 750 feet apart. As a result, jumbo jets often land next to each other. NickFlightX captured footage of a number of flights landing in this formation. They’re not always in sync, but some of them come in perfectly side-by-side.

On April 18, 1906, San Francisco was devastated by a horrific 7.9 magnitude earthquake. This fascinating footage of Market Street gives us a glimpse of what it looked like just four days before the quake hit and leveled much of the city.
