Awesome Minions

After creeping us out with his realistic LEGO minifigure, we figured North of the Border’s take on The Minions would be similarly disturbing. His polymer clay versions of Minions Bob, Stuart, and Kevin are decidedly less appealing than their movie counterparts. All three of them could use a visit to the dentist.

In a way, the staff on The Office are kind of like the Minions from Despicable Me. They each have a quirky personality, and they all work for an annoying boss played by Steve Carrell. To celebrate the release of the new movie Minions: Rise of Gru, Illumination Entertainment released this special remake of The Office’s opening credits.

Filmmaker Fabrice Mathieu pays tribute to the work of Aardman Animations and Illumination Entertainment with an original story that features seamlessly-blended footage from various Wallace & Gromit and Minions films. Seriously, when is this movie coming out?
