From Batman to Beetlejuice to Birdman, Michael Keaton is a man of many personas. Keaton sat down for an interview with GQ to talk about some of his most iconic characters, their sources of inspiration, and how he got inside their heads. For some roles, the costume and makeup provided enough of a hook, while others required him to dig much deeper.

It explores the early promises of OxyContin, the massive lies told by its makers, and the tragic impact that the highly addictive pharmaceutical has had on millions. The mini-series premieres 10.13.2021 on Hulu.

“You’re not in the burger business. You’re in the real estate business.” Michael Keaton stars as the late businessman Ray Kroc, who – for better or for worse – revolutionized franchising and turned McDonald’s into the American icon that it is today.

While hosting SNL back in April 2015, Michael Keaton appeared in this sketch which starts out like Blues Clues or Pee-Wee’s Playhouse, but gets really dark, really fast. Go figure that one of the season’s funniest sketches got cut for time.

Michael Keaton came back to Saturday Night Live after 33 years(!) for his performance in Birdman. But SNL obviously missed the point of that movie, because all they want him to be is The Dark Knight. The Dark Knight. The Dark Knight.
