This jigsaw puzzle is the perfect time-killer for LEGO fans. The 1000-piece puzzle features a vibrant image of buckets filled with LEGO bricks, neatly separated by color. The color sections should mean it’s not too difficult, but the varying block shapes still provide a bit of a challenge.

LEGO builder Baron Julius von Brunk created this deranged stop-motion short which envisions an alternative universe version of The Simpsons, in which Bart, er Bort likes to sniff gasoline fumes and burn down lemon trees. Can Milhaus stop him before he destroys Sprungfeld?

This highly-articulated LEGO Technic robot by Shadow Elenter uses 19 motors to move its wheels, arms, snippers and grippers to defuse, pick up, and dispose of a phony explosive payload. We’re not sure we’d use it for a real bomb threat, but we’re still impressed.

LEGO artist TonyFlow76 shows off a playful scene featuring a man taking a bath. As he turns the crank, the guy scrubs his back, colorful “water” ripples and pours from the faucets. You might recognize Boone Langston from his time on LEGO Masters. He’s also a contributor to the Beyond the Brick team, and is here to show off some of the very cool retro sci-fi ray guns he’s made using LEGO. The background is a space-themed baseplate from Slab Dream Lab.

Inspired by a fan-submitted design, this LEGO set lets you build your own pirate ship, shipwrecked on an island. The 2545-piece kit features lots of awesome details like a captain’s cabin, kitchen, tavern, bedroom and jail cell, while the island splits in half to reveal treasure. LEGO and Nintendo have teamed up to create a unique line of playthings inspired by the world of Super Mario. Designed primarily for kids, the toys can build worlds inspired by platform game design. The highlight is an interactive Mario figure that collects virtual coins as he’s moved around each level.

Stop-motion animator Keshen presents an action-packed LEGO short. Watch as our protagonist minifig (who looks strikingly like The Stig) hacks his way into a mysterious building, and locates a high-value, artificially-intelligent bounty. The only trick, it wants desperately to annihilate him.

Beyond the Brick came across this epic and wonderfully-detailed LEGO thrill ride at Portland, Oregon’s Bricks Cascade 2020. It was built by Matthew Chiles, who says he used 100% authentic LEGO parts with no modifications, and that it’s been around in various configurations since all the way back in 2002.

RC model fan Bordin Luca shows off a massive LEGO Technic build based on Jeroen Ottens‘ design for a Liebherr LTM 11200 construction crane. The nearly 8000-piece model features motorized support legs, and a huge, extendable tower. It’s featured alongside several other large RC vehicles in the eBook Bigscale RC Model.

The Fiat 500 first debuted in 1957, and became an iconic vehicle in Europe and around the globe. LEGO’s 960-piece expert kit is based on the 1965 500F model, and includes a rear engine, a spare tire under the hood, a folding roof, and luggage to mount on its tailgate. LEGO also built a life-size version out of nearly 190,000 bricks.

LEGO train fans BANANENBUURMAN and Hntrains teamed up to create an outdoor railway alongside the church bells at Citadel Square in Baie Mare, Romania. The display includes an impressive suspension bridge, elevated sections, and a spiral they rebuilt from the recently dismantled world’s tallest LEGO train spiral.

In this soothing LEGO build video, Jason Alleman of JK Brickworks shows off another one of his awesome kinetic sculptures. Like his others creations, it can be driven by crank or a motor. If you want one for your own desktop, he’s posted the build instructions and a link to buy the bricks on his website.

Make every day awesome with this official LEGO desk calendar. The 11″ wide kit includes 278 pieces and instructions for building four numeric date cubes, a desk stand, and a businessman minifigure. Now, somebody needs to add motors to this and turn it into a clock.

In the world of LEGO, you can’t just buy stuff that’s already made, right? It’s not official unless you snap some pieces together, like this 12″ ruler that’s made up from official LEGO plates and bricks. After you assemble it, you can measure stuff, or just snap more bricks on top.

Fox’s competition show LEGO Masters proves you’re never too old to play with toys by giving adults an unlimited supply of LEGO bricks for fantasy builds. We’re surprised that LEGO machine expert JK Brickworks has never built a Great Ball Contraption module before, but his first one definitely lives up to his standards. Watch as four tiny LEGO robots work along an assembly line, each passing a ball to the next to move it down the line. It also appears to work as a hypnosis device.

While it’s not likely to be approved for use in an actual casino, Berthil van Beek’s motorized LEGO Technic roulette wheel is an impressive build. It’s designed to work as part of a larger great ball contraption, but is perfectly awesome all on its own. Ladies and gentlemen, place your bets!
