Apple’s latest pro notebook is thinner, faster, has a much larger trackpad, a new keyboard, Touch ID, and a color multitouch toolbar that replaces the function keys with customizeable and contextual controls. In 13″ or 15″ sizes with a variety of Core i5 & Core i7 CPUs.

Razer updates its 17″ gaming laptop with a 4K G-Sync-compatible touchscreen, a GTX1080 GPU, a 2.6Ghz i7-6700HQ CPU, 32GB RAM, up to 2TB SSD and low-profile mechanical keys, all in a minimalist frame that could pass for an ultraportable. Drops soon for $3.7K+.

Built to run the latest VR games, the GT83VR Titan SLI is a monster of a gaming laptop, with an 18.4″ display, Intel’s quad-core i7-6920HQ or 6820HK CPU, 512GB to 1TB SSD, Nvidia GTX 1080 Dual SLI GPUs, and a mechanical Steelseries keyboard with RGB backlighting.

Acer’s 2-in-1 Windows 10 notebook packs the power of a proper Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 CPU, and a quiet liquid cooling system. The 12″ IPS display offers 2160×1440 resolution, and the system includes a keyboard. An optional active pen adds drawing capabilities. Drops 6/2016.

HP tries to marry style and power with the new Spectre 13. It’s the world’s thinnest laptop at just 10mm thick and it weighs just 2.5lb. But it has a Core i5/i7 CPU, 8GB RAM, up to 512GB SSD, three USB-C ports and a 13.3″ 1080p display. Drops 4/25/16 for $1,170+.

LG’s new 15Z960 laptop has a 15.6″ 1080p screen and a full-size keyboard with a numpad, but it’s only 0.66″ thick and weighs just 2.2lb – even lighter than the 11″ MacBook Air. It has a Core i5 or i7 CPU, 8GB RAM and 256GB or 512GB SSD.

Unlike the other Razer Blades, the 12.5″ Blade Stealth is an ultrabook – it’s thin, light and lasts up to 8h per charge, but it only has integrated graphics. To make up for that, Razer made the Core, an add-on that lets you connect desktop GPUs to the laptop via a Thunderbolt 3 cable.

Lenovo’s newest laptop-tablet hybrid has an optional 2160×1440 OLED touchscreen for eye-popping brightness and color saturation. It also has an integrated stylus and up to 6th gen Core i7 CPU, 16GB RAM, and 1TB SSD. Available 2/16 starting at $1450.

The powerful XPS 15 finally gets the excellent XPS 13’s nearly borderless display. It also has a USB Type-C port, up to a 4K touchscreen, up to Core i7 CPU, up to 16GB RAM, up to 1TB HDD/SSD and optional NVIDIA GTX 960M GPU. Available soon for $999+.

Microsoft reminds Apple what a pro tablet looks like. Like its predecessors, the Surface Pro 4 runs a desktop OS – in this case Windows 10 – and has a (pseudo) optional keyboard cover, which has better spacing and a larger touchpad than the Pro 3.

Microsoft once again improves on the laptop-tablet hybrid. The Surface Book has a 13.5″ 3000×2000 display that can be used as a tablet when undocked from its laptop-grade keyboard. The latter also has additional battery and an optional discrete GPU.

The Satellite Radius 12 is the world’s first laptop-tablet hybrid with a 12.5″ 4K touchscreen display. It’s also certified by Technicolor for color accuracy. It also has Intel’s new Skylake CPUs and Windows 10 facial authentication. Drops Q4 2015 for $999+.

The Apex’s upper level can hold a laptop or a tablet, while the lower level is for phones. It has a built-in cord organizer and its two hinges each have 10 adjustment levels. It folds down and has a carry case for portability.

Alienware’s bank- and back-breaking flagship is back. The new Alienware 18 has a 1080p 18″ WLED display, factory overclocked and user-replaceable 4th gen Core i7 CPU, at least 16GB RAM and starts with dual 6GB GTX 970M in SLI.

Grovemade’s new and beautiful laminated wooden laptop stands. They have cork feet and an aluminum stop lined with leather. They work with up to 15″ laptops and come in walnut or maple veneer.
