Amazon’s backlit e-book reader now has a high-resolution 300 ppi 6″ screen. It has a new font made for e-books, and better typography and page layouts to preserve the original format even when you increase the font size.
The latest version of the Kindle Paperwhite has a faster processor and an improved touchscreen. It also has new features such as a quick page scanning feature and intuitive word and phrase lookup tools.
With 7″ 720p and 8.9″ 1080p models, it has a dual-core CPU, dual-band Wi-Fi (4G LTE avail.) and dual stereo speakers. It syncs book, movie and game progress, tightly integrated with Amazon’s services.
