Joerg Sprave is known for his inventive slingshot designs. He’s also into unique weapons. In this video, he shows off a neat custom knife he built with a rack-and-pinion mechanism. It pops open and closes quickly with the flick of a lever. He’s sending the prototype to a professional knifemaker to see if it can be refined and put into production.

There’s nothing quite as joyous as the grin on Joerg Sprave’s face and his manaical laugh when he fires up one of his over-the-top homebrew weapons. In this clip, he shows off a few of his creations, a couple of commercially-available crossbows, and the real reason you came here, an insane drill-powered machine bow at 7:15.

Madman Joerg Sprave is back with another insane weapon build. This time, he’s taken four cap-firing revolvers and mounted them to a spinning rig powered by a drill. We can only imagine the carnage if he did this with actual revolvers.
