Because the gas-guzzling Hummer H1 wasn’t big enough, Sheikh Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan aka the “Rainbow Sheikh” commissioned the build of this monster edition that’s roughly three times the size of the original. It’s powered by four diesel engines – one for each wheel, and its interior serves as a conference room.

Awesome Woodcraft builds some amazing miniature wood vehicles. In this video, they take on the biggest SUV they could think of, the boxy, gas-guzzling Hummer H1. The detailed model includes wheels that turn and steer, a spring suspension, and a hinged hood and doors.

After showing off their electric pickup truck, GMC has revealed its brother, an SUV with a 9″ shorter wheelbase and tighter maneuverability. Like the truck, it offers up to 830 hp and 11,500 lb-ft. of torque, its independent motors let it crabwalk out of tight spaces, and its air suspension can extract it from tall obstacles.

After seeing an image of a vehicle that had car wash soap stuck to it in freezing temperatures, Garage 54 decided to try and replicate the effect. For their cold-weather experiment, they sprayed their Hummer with foam in the -40º deep freeze outside their shop, turning the SUV into a fuzzy pink nightmare.

Zero South and Jay Leno added a biodiesel generator that feeds power to four motors, one for each of this H1 Hummer’s tracks. It will be used in an expedition to the South Pole for a documentary.
