Deus Ex Machina’s new Japan branch turned a 1961 Honda Super Cub – the Beetle of motorcycles – into a race-ready machine. Aside from increasing the engine’s output by 20%, the shop also custom made parts such as the monocoque body and adjustable race shocks.

The reviews are in – the new Honda Africa Twin is a worthy successor to its predecessor and its Dakar Rally roots. The CRF1000L has a 998cc parallel twin motors, 6-speed manual or DCT transmission, ABS and adjustable torque control.

Kim Gehrig directed this wonderful spot for the new Honda HR-V, in which a team of talented steppers move and groove in perfect formation as the vehicle provides a central focus. While the compact crossover is surprisingly spacious, we doubt it really seats 40 though.

Jay Leno’s Garage checks out a half-motorcycle, half-car hybrid. Matt Brown turned a dilapidated ’64 Honda S600 into a little bundle of joy using a 160hp 1000cc Honda CBR 1000RR engine, BMW differential, Miata brakes, and Yamaha shocks.

The tiny Japan-only S660 has a 660cc 3-cylinder engine that produces 66hp, but Car and Driver says a variant with a 1L 125hp turbocharged engine will make its way to the US. The video is in Japanese, but a gear head’s glee is universal.

The production Civic Type R is even more aggressive and powerful than its concept model. Its 2L turbo VTEC engine produces up to 310hp and delivers 295lb.ft. of torque at only 2500RPM. It also goes round the Nürburgring in 7:50.

Honda UK made two short films to juxtapose the Honda Civic and its alter ego, the Civic Type-R, then loaded them both in one frame. After you hit play, you can switch between the two short films by pressing ‘R’ on your keyboard.

Honda parodies the hipster DIY culture with its April Fools’ Day gag – a car that comes completely disassembled, with over 180,000 individual pieces. We’d like to think they hired IKEA to create the assembly manuals.

The NM4’s “neo-futuristic” design was inspired by manga and anime. It has a 745cc twin-cylinder engine that produces 50bhp and 50lb.ft. of torque. It will also have a variant that doesn’t have the wide rear utility boxes.

Looking like it jumped out of an anime, the Civic Type R Concept has a 276hp 2L 4-cylinder turbocharged engine, a massive rear spoiler, wide front and rear fenders and 20″ wheels. A production version is expected in 2015.

A black 1992 Honda NSX that was purchased for the late F1 legend Ayrton Senna by one of his close friends. Silverstone Auctions will offer the car to bidders on 2/22/14 and estimates that it will sell for at least $120,000.

Bold styling, performance and comfort are just a few of the reasons to check out Honda’s big blue tourer. Its 1832cc liquid-cooled 6cyl. Goldwing engine should make it fly, as the low-slung Valkyrie weighs just 750lbs. Video here.

An absolutely stunning moped made by Matthew Turner. He used a Honda PA50 Camino frame and engine plus parts from other mopeds and motorcycles as well as hand-built parts. One lucky man won it at 1977 Moped’s raffle.

The evolution of the OSM Concept, the open-top S660 is looking more and more like a production car. It’s expected to sport a tiny 3 cyl. engine and lightweight construction for fuel efficiency. Debuts at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show.
