Winnipeg Blue Bombers’ QB Drew Willy threw this incredibly spot-on catch right into the crook of WR Ryan Smith’s arm, letting him catch the ball without even knowing he was going to do so. The team would go on to win the game, in part due to this epic touchdown play.
Don’t dish out punishment if you can’t take it. In their recent game against the Seahawks, Rams punter Johnny Hekker inexplicably shoved defensive end Cliff Avril from behind. Hekker was called for a foul, but the real penalty came in the next play.
Down 3 points with only 6 seconds left against Duke, the Miami Hurricanes retreated nearly 30 yards and made eight lateral passes before clearing a way for a touchdown. The trick may have confused the refs as well, because they got a few no calls along the way. (Thanks Joel!)
