Chinese drone maker Ehang is working on an octocopter that can carry a person. In theory, you won’t need a license to ride the 184 because it pilots itself. It has a maximum altitude of about 1200ft., goes up to 60mph and lasts 23 min. per charge. Skip to 3:50.

YouTuber Samm Sheperd loves to make cheap model airplanes. One of his latest creations is a foamboard plane that flies using jet propulsion, thanks to an impeller that he took from a broken heater’s motor.

YouTuber MrLiftHog lost control of his remote-controlled airplane because he was temporarily blinded by the sun. The plane crashed into the sea and immediately got wrecked, but the GoPro camera attached to it kept rolling.

Track star Lolo Jones is used to speed – jumping over hurdles, not doing barrel rolls. Red Bull dropped Lolo into a plane with stunt pilot Kirby Chambliss to see how she’d take to the skies. Lolo’s reactions are priceless, but Kirby’s calm demeanor is even more astounding.
